Making five stops across the country each season, each stop sees our top domestic athletes line up against athletes from around the world in our premier series of track and field meetings.

It’s not all about the athletes, though. Summer Circuit events have a family-friendly atmosphere that make these a great whānau day out! With vendors and food stalls to visit in between events and races, there is plenty of action on and off the track for the whole crew.
Potts Classic & NZ Short Track Champs
Kicking off the Summer Circuit in style is the Potts Classic held in conjunction with the brand new New Zealand Short Track Championships. For the first time national titles will be up for grabs over the 60m and 60m hurdles. The same Potts Classic day out is still on offer! Don't miss it!

International Track Meet
Since 2009, the International Track Meet has been the jewel in the Christchurch athletics crown! A full spectacle of track and field action will be on display over three scintillating hours!

The grand finale of the Summer Circuit calendar, the New Zealand Track & Field Championships! This event sees New Zealand’s top athletes compete for national glory across the full range of track and field disciplines.

Introducing Track Stars, a historic evening of track and field action, featuring New Zealand’s biggest stars – on and off the track – live and free on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+.
