Porritt Classic

Named after Sir Arthur Porritt, a decorated athlete and New Zealand member of the International Olympic Committee, this Non-Summer Series event takes place each February in Hamilton. This event is recognised by World Athletics as a World Athletics Continental Challenge Series event.

The event is hosted at Porritt Stadium in the Hamilton suburb of Chartwell, and is a mixed purpose park used for football and athletics. Like the Porritt Classic, the stadium is also named after Sir Arthur Porritt and hosted the 2022 Special Olympics event.
