NZ Combined Events Championship

The NZ Combined Events Championship attracts athletes that are capable of multiple track and field disciplines. Events include Hexathlon (6 event competition), Heptathlon (7 event competition), Octathlon (8 event competition) and Decathlon (10 event competition). 

Throwing, jumping and running events take a special kind of athlete. Being a capable all rounder in a variety of disciplines is a sign of a very talented sports person! This event is recognised by World Athletics as a World Athletics Continental Challenge Series event.
